Designing ViE

Designed by Chaix et Morel architects, ViE is light, airy and well balanced. Full-length windows across the ground floor offer unlimited natural daylight; high ceilings throughout give an overwhelming sensation of openness.

A sustainable future

Like all CA Immo developments, ViE will be built with sustainability in mind, aiming to achieve DGNB Platinum certification. Encouraging people to commute by bike e.g. with in-house bike parking and showers is a priority for ViE, supporting Austria’s 2020 GHG emission target².

A renewable energy system helps to reduce power consumption. ViE also represents the idea of a working culture where respect for staff wellbeing leads to high loyalty and low turnover.

ViE offers some of the most flexible office space in Vienna.

Each tenant decides how their space is set up: cubicles, open plan, or a mix of both. With a two-storey layout you'll have the option of connecting staircases, to aid communication.

The heart of Vienna

ViE lies on the edge of the urban 2nd and 3rd districts of Vienna. It’s directly connected by footbridge to the Prater, so within a minute you can be in the sunshine, surrounded by trees and birdsong.

Making life easier

ViE will feature 100 bike parking spots, showers and a private 70-space underground car park. 1450 extra spaces will be accessible locally.

On the ground floor you’ll find a café and supermarket. For retail therapy, try the Galleria shopping centre next door, or nearby Landstraße with its mall and boutiques.

The Lände 3 quarter has its own established day nursery, located a short walk from ViE.

Erdberger Lände Development

ViE will be part of Erdberger Lände Development, a new city quarter with a mix of residential, office and retail space. Robert Bosch AG in the Silbermöwe building lies adjacent, and Post AG rent over 30,000 m² at the site.

ViE's prominent position and head-turning facade will rebrand this previously industrial quarter as the place to work in Vienna.

Vienna's 64.75-metre tall Ferris wheel at the entrance of the Prater amusement park in Leopoldstadt.


The 4.4 km long alley is a paradise for cyclists and pedestrians. A special attraction is the blossoming season of the chestnut trees.

At the Galleria shopping center, visitors can look forward to a diverse yet balanced blend of more than 40 shops and an inviting food mall.


Vienna's harbor for yachts and recreational craft offers comprehensive boating services, culinary pleasures right by the water's edge and action for adrenalin junkies.


The Ernst Happel Stadium in Leopoldstadt is Austria's the largest football stadium.

The Twin City Liner takes you from Vienna to Bratislava in one hour and fifteen minutes.


St. Stephen's Cathedral is the symbol of Vienna and one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria. The tower room offers a breathtaking view across Vienna.


The Albertina houses one of the largest and most precious graphic art collections in the world. Vienna's State Opera with a history dating back to the mid-19th century.


The stalls at this market are piled high with olives, flowers, farm-fresh meat and cheese. There are a handful of cafes, takeaway joints and bakeries on the square.
